These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Edvion Learning Pvt. Ltd. ("Edvion", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our platform at edvion.in, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any Edvion service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must also agree to these Terms on your behalf.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of Edvion after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Description of Services

Edvion provides an AI-powered educational platform for CBSE students, including:

• Tutor AI — an AI assistant that answers academic questions and explains concepts
• Photo Questions — upload a photo of a question and receive a step-by-step solution
• Infinite Exams — AI-generated practice papers and mock tests aligned to the CBSE curriculum
• Study Plans — personalised revision timetables and progress tracking

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the platform as a whole at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

User Accounts

To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately at support@edvion.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or have been inactive for more than 24 months.

Acceptable Use

You may use Edvion only for lawful educational purposes. You agree notto:

• Use the platform to cheat in official examinations, including CBSE board exams
• Submit content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or harmful to minors
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our platform
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or tools to access content without our written consent
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access-control feature
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of our services without written permission
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our backend systems

Intellectual Property

Our content

All content, software, and materials on the Edvion platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, UI design, AI model outputs, exam questions, and study plans — are the intellectual property of Edvion Learning Pvt. Ltd. or our licensors. They are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and trade-secret laws.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, typed questions, etc.). By uploading content, you grant Edvion a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, process, and display that content solely to deliver the services to you. We will not use your personal content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Feedback

If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about Edvion, we may use them without any obligation or compensation to you.

Subscriptions & Payment

Plans

Edvion offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed weekly, monthly, or annually as selected at checkout. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated and include applicable taxes.

Billing

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You authorise us to charge your payment method on file on each renewal date
• If a payment fails, we will retry and may downgrade your account to the free tier

Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Access continues until the end of the current billing period
• We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first payment if you are unsatisfied
• No refunds are issued for partial billing periods beyond the 7-day window

Price changes

We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. The new price will apply at your next renewal.

AI-Generated Content

Edvion uses artificial intelligence to generate explanations, exam questions, and study materials. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
• AI outputs should be used as a learning aid, not as a substitute for official CBSE materials or your teacher's guidance
• We continuously improve our AI systems but cannot guarantee perfect accuracy at all times
• You should verify important information against authorised NCERT textbooks and official sources

Disclaimers

Edvion is provided on an "as is" and "as available"basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• That the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
• That AI-generated content will always be accurate, complete, or current
• That use of Edvion will guarantee improved academic performance or exam results

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Edvion Learning Pvt. Ltd. and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity arising from your use of or inability to use the platform
• Any errors in AI-generated content that you rely upon

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 (whichever is greater).

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account with immediate effect if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
